Create a quote for a lead

  • If you are a user with the Root or Admin role, you can complete the operation.
  • Ordinary users need to have the following permissions on their profile to complete this operation.
    • Allow user to handle Leads
    • Allow user to handle Pricebooks
    • Allow user to handle Quotes

Create quotes for your potential customer using pricebooks.

Open the app menu in the upper right corner and then click the Leads item. Search and choose the lead for whom you want to create a new quote.

Open the form menu and click on the Add new quote option.

Search and select the pricebook you want to use. If you do not have one yet, you must create a pricebook.

Set the quote a name, add products, set quantities and define how taxes will be calculated, if you wish, add discounts and click the Create Quote button.

Once the quote is created, you can convert it into an order or an invoice.

Find the quotes that belong to the lead by clicking on the Quotes item on the left side when you are at the lead details page.
